DESIGN TALKS 2017

SCGP and Wallpaper Magazine (Thai edition) are joining forces to proudly present the Design Talks 2017. The purpose is to promote and share packaging design experiences for the general public, and those who love design will enjoy the ideas and experiences of the globally-leading designers. With this event, the Thai design industry is promoted to a new height, meeting growth and widening the opportunities for competitiveness in the Thai packaging design industry.

Among the highlights is the lecture of Hong Kong’s eminent graphic designer, Mr. Ken Lo, who established the design studio ‘Blow’ in 2010. His works span various fields such as branding and brand identity design, packaging design, and interior graphic design. In many cases, one of his globally-acclaimed achievements is his perfect combination of oriental and western elements.

Mr. Ken Lo’s works have been published in magazines such as Computer Arts, étapes, novum, IDEA, IdN, to name but a few. In addition, over 60 awards to his credit include magnificent examples such as HKDA Global Design Awards and Tokyo Type Directors Club. This event will mark his debut in Thailand to share his experiences, tips, and processes in his design work so far.

SCGP is committed to creating activities that reinforce the values and being part of packaging design advancement. As such, SCGP aims to further the Thai design industry while bolstering the packaging design industry for growth and sustainability. The Design Talks 2017 seeks to widen viewpoints and inspire Thai designers and students through the participation of world-famous designers. The Design Talks 2017 will be held in July and November.
