Khao Soi Tat is a traditional northern Thai dessert from Chiang Mai Province that comes in a variety of flavors and is popular as a souvenir because it can be eaten on any occasion. However, most people are not very familiar with it because the packaging in the market is made of plastic and is not attractive, so most people do not buy it to eat, especially teenagers. Therefore, our team is interested in developing and designing Khao Soi Tat packaging to be modern to attract new generations to be interested in Khao Soi Tat and make it more well-known. The material we will use is paper for easy recycling instead of plastic, including character icon patterns that convey the flavors or ingredients of Khao Soi Tat, and the box design is a square with a window to show the product so that consumers can see samples of the product. The opening part will be similar to a drawer for easy opening. Our marketing activities will make the product interesting and well-known by promoting it through the TikTok application because it is the channel that can reach the most teenagers, including promoting it in the form of setting up booths at various events in shopping malls to build the brand and increase the value of the product to be more well-known.
