Currently, the market for hair curlers both globally and in Thailand is growing rapidly. The global market is expected to grow at an average annual growth rate of approximately 6.5% over the next five years. While Thailand has a higher growth trend. Due to the continuous increase in demand for beauty products however, this growth has brought with it the problem of packaging waste that has a huge impact on the environment. In particular, the use of packaging made from plastic is difficult to decompose, causing the amount of waste in the country to increase rapidly.
In Thailand, we still face problems with water hyacinth and bagasse residue. which are weeds and garbage that affect the environment, especially in water sources and agricultural areas. Using these materials to produce environmentally friendly packaging is an interesting option. Recycling or reusing these materials can help reduce waste and promote efficient use of resources. Bringing in the concept of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (3R) as an important approach in dealing with the problem of packaging waste. By reducing the use of materials that are difficult to decompose, such as plastic, by using packaging that can be reused, such as packaging made from paper or natural materials. In addition, recycling various materials that cannot be used and reusing them get the most benefit.
Developing packaging from natural materials not only reduces environmental impacts. But it also helps raise awareness among consumers about the importance of choosing products that are environmentally friendly, both helping to strengthen the image and confidence of the hair curler brand in the eyes of consumers in a sustainable way. Therefore, changing packaging production methods is an important step in reducing waste from hair curler packaging and help preserve the environment in the long run In line with the 3R approach that supports sustainable and environmentally responsible consumption.

- Every time I buy a hair curler, there is a plastic box and foam. Often throw away such garbage, making it feel like there is more than necessary.
- I like to collect boxes. But it cannot be used for anything else. I kept it because I was disappointed.
- Throwing boxes of stuff into the garbage because I don't know why I keep them. It's a mess.
- Bought a hair curler But I didn't put it in the box because I was too lazy to put it in the box.
In the end, I threw the box away because I didn't use it for anything.

❤️Social and environmental packaging design for brands and products offered
Anyaliss hair curler packaging was developed to reduce the problem of unused packaging that is discarded in large quantities, resulting in packaging waste, which subsequently affects the environment. The brand has developed packaging using materials from sugarcane waste and water hyacinth, and coated with Polyethylene (PE), which is molded using compression molding or casting technology to achieve the desired shape. The design can be reused as a jewelry drawer, reducing the amount of plastic used and making the most of natural resources. It can also be recycled into recycled paper for reuse.

Activity to send hair curlers with boxes to beauty influencers whose image matches the brand's target customers. Make a clip to present products and DIY jewelry drawers with keywords, inviting you to join the Anyalisssister family together with us.

Activities with the community to collect water hyacinths in sources and canals in the area. By taking the collected water hyacinth and processing it into packaging. As well as creating awareness of environmental problems and promoting the conservation of water resources, educating the community.
