Rice is an essential item that every Thai individual always keep in their homes. Surveys have revealed that rice is the second most frequently purchased product among the elderly. Nevertheless, the weight of rice and its predominant packaging in bags make it challenging to transport and unsuitable for elderly individuals to carry. As a result, we decided to redesign the new rice packaging.

The rice chosen for the new packaging design is named "ข้า๑" (Khaao 1) and is sourced specifically from the fields in Roi Et Province, with a particular emphasis on Khularong rice. Three types of rice were selected to represent this line: jasmine rice, brown rice, and riceberry. These rice varieties are well-suited for health-conscious individuals and provide an attractive option for the elderly.
