We have adapted this concept to enhance the functionality of coffee products, specifically focusing on the packaging. The development will involve a cup lid made from environmentally friendly PLA plastic, replacing traditional chemical-based plastics. We will also incorporate a water-soluble, edible film, utilizing protein derived from natural materials to encase the coffee grounds within the lid.

The usage process is as follows: Add hot water to the cup and secure the lid at an appropriate level. Shake for quicker mixing, or allow the steam to dissolve the film, which will then mix with the coffee grounds in the water, resulting in an instant coffee that is ready to drink.

This packaging innovation aims to reduce the use of plastic from coffee pouches and minimize plastic waste, thereby mitigating its environmental impact.
