Design pattern: Uses vector images of famous landmarks around the world. Function: Designed to store and preserve shoes. The box design includes a handle for convenient carrying. The box can be reused as a shoe rack or as a small trash bin in the work area.
Tradition
As the country develops and life improves, people's needs also increase. To tap into consumer psychology, product packaging needs to be designed to suit the times, enhance utility, and help users have the best experience when using the product. However, some traditional Vietnamese product packaging has not yet been improved to suit modern trends, causing some traditional products to be overshadowed and few people use them. Therefore, we decided to choose the green bean cake product - a specialty of Hai Duong, Vietnam to redesign the packaging, to enhance traditional values and promote Vietnamese culture internationally.

Pharmacity's children's medical face mask packaging project is based on the themes of "Contributing initiatives, creating the future" and "Packaging promoting sales," with an emphasis on convenience and differentiation. This project has the potential to meet costumers's needs by improving a convenient and unique structure. In addition, to be ecologically sustainable, the packaging makes of safe paper materials for better usage and preservation. Children are the target consumers, so the interface's pictures and colors have been altered to make them appealing, approachable, and appropriate. Furthermore, engaging components like games are integrated within the package to delight kids during usage.
GRAHOME
The product that our DD&L team wants to submit to this competition is a packaging for granola bars. Like the GRAHOME brand name, with the desire to bring people closer to the market for quick, nutritious, and healthy food, we decided to launch a product line of granola bars with a variety of flavors, combined from different types of nutritious nuts, suitable for many different audiences as well as not boring for users. The outer part of the package is designed with simple colors, only including the brand name “GRAHOME” with the slogan “Think GRAHOME. Think Positive” and the ingredient list. In addition, it also comes with a window on the front so that users can easily see the product inside and a small frame on the lid that helps us take the product out without having to open the entire box. The outer paper box packaging is integrated for convenience while using, however, the product inside can be stored for a long time without fear of mold or contact with the air because each different bar will be wrapped in a type of water-resistant packaging and prevent the product from coming into direct contact with light. In addition, the handle on top makes it convenient to carry without the need for outer packaging, contributing to reducing waste to the environment. In addition, with this type of box packaging design, we can use it as a gift on important occasions.

'Tea enjoyment' is considered a traditional beauty of Vietnamese people for many generations, regardless of class, whether lowland or upstream, from rural to urban areas, tea has become an indispensable drink. However, in ancient times, when society was still divided into different classes (from kings and lords to mandarins, merchants and even farmers), each class had different ways of enjoying tea. And those methods of enjoying tea seem to become a measure of class. The more aristocratic the class, the more complicated and sophisticated the methods of enjoying tea are, while in the peasant class, it is very close and simple. But today, our tea drinking culture has changed a lot. The way to enjoy tea has also become more diverse and is no longer constrained by old standards. From young people to middle-aged people or even the elderly, everyone can drink tea. Depending on time and preferences, each person can choose the type of tea as well as the way to drink tea that they like and find suitable. Besides, our group is also interested in the field of Climate Change in the issue of Sustainable Development. From there, we came up with the idea of creating a 'tea' packaging that could both ensure aesthetics and minimize the impact on the environment, thereby minimizing worsening climate change.

Hello everyone and the organizers of the SCGP Packaging Speak Out 2023 contest. We are DD&L, 2nd year students majoring in Printing Technology in the Printing and Graphic Design at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. Continuing the passion from the GRAHOME packaging contest, today we bring to this contest our second product called SORA. Specifically, we have developed box packaging in the beauty field, used to store cosmetics and can be integrated into shelves. We created SORA beauty with the desire to enhance the beauty spirit of Vietnamese people in particular and people around the world in general, bringing convenience in integrating everyone's beauty processes in just one cosmetic box. SORA beauty is designed with midnight blue outer packaging, including a direct cosmetic box and will be accompanied by a paper bag packaging of similar color and design when purchasing. With this color, the product will especially stand out and attract viewers' eyes. The exterior motifs are also delicately designed with blue roses that both match the background color of the product packaging and represent mystery and special human aspirations. Along with the message “Be you. Do you. For you", we want to send good words to users: be yourself, live for yourself without worrying about negative outside influences. Cosmetic boxes are made from Duplex paper - a popular type of paper in the Printing industry. The rose graphic on the outside will be eye-catching embossed, affirming elegance and luxury; brand name “SORA” with the message “Be you. Do you. For you" is placed in the center of the box with an enhanced UV coating effect after printing to increase the prominence of the brand name, attracting the viewer's eye. When purchasing, customers will receive a product box with an outer paper bag packaging for convenience in carrying around, and can be used as a gift while still ensuring the aesthetics of the product. The inner paper box is specially designed with a sliding lid and a base to hold the product. When opening the box, just slide the two frame parts at both ends and the box will open and can slide out at a 90 degrees angle to fold shelf, or if not in use, you can close the two sliding lids together, both preserving cosmetics and ensuring convenience. On another hand, this paper box along with the outer paper packaging can also be reused for different purposes, limiting the impact on the environment. Overcoming all barriers of standard beauty, SORA wants everyone to be themselves and love the beauty they have.

Based on the theme of promoting better sales and packaging for customers as well as the world. I decided to design Vietnamese fruit ice cream packaging. With the desire to contribute to promoting and enhancing the value of Vietnamese consumer products to bring trust from local customers and beyond, customers around the world, creating many opportunities for my country's industry and agriculture. Along with the design, it solves the user's limitations when using the product by expanding the bottom of the ice cream packaging and designing an additional handle on the ice cream stick to help users not get their hands dirty when eating ice cream. Besides, the packaging can be recycled into decorations with Vietnamese fruit characteristics and replace regular plastic packaging with parchment paper with the most limited design possible.

By focusing on brand positioning and design, Ocha aims to build customer loyalty, trust, and drive increased sales.

The Northern Chinese believe that the first person to discover tea was Shennong (a god in Chinese mythology). This legend is introduced in the book Tra Kinh by Luc Vu. The tea ceremony was formed a long time ago in China. In the art of enjoying tea, not only must the quality of the tea be delicious, but the tea ceremony is extremely important and cannot be ignored. Inspired by the Chinese tea ceremony, I designed this tea box model, not too complicated, not too simple, creating a sudden excitement for the recipient during the tea making process.

The group came to the contest to bring a packaging design for a Tet cake box. The main color tones of the design are red and yellow. The cake box design group includes 3 components: the box lid, 4 small cake boxes and the bottom of the box. The design idea originated from Tet, so the group chose special images and symbols of Tet such as apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, banh chung, scenes of family reunions and fun scenes. The design not only brings a unique meaningful gift but can also be used for different purposes.
